Perennials use only 100% solution-dyed acrylic fibers to produce its decorative lines. The fabrics are of such quality that the brand can offer a three-year no-fade guarantee. All of the brand’s fibers begin as a liquid acrylic polymer solution. This solution is injected with pigments, then extruded, aligned, stretched, crimped and cut, resulting in a fiber that resembles natural cotton. The proprietary process ensures that the colors completely permeate the fibers and enables the yarn to stand up to the elements better than yarn-dyed or piece-dyed fabrics. Solution-dyed acrylic fabrics offer a more natural look and feel and are resistant to ultraviolet degradation. Perennials’ fibers are round, adding a higher tenacity, improved abrasion resistance and better color consistency.
