FOLKLORE, a collection of fabric and trimming, is The House of Scalamandré’s latest offering under this beloved brand, which continues to explore this perennial theme through a diverse range of vibrant and down-to-earth designs. From colorful prints to nuanced, textural woven fabrics, the Folklore Collection evokes the magic of flowers, enlivening our senses and inspiring wonder. Fresh with a touch of whimsy, this mix of statement prints and multi-color go-withs is perfect for pattern play in any space. The palette ranges from budding pastels to saturated hues to evergreen neutrals. A charming English garden comes to life in Nymph Floral, a multi-color digital print on a fine, 100% cotton ground. Stylized foxgloves (which some etymologists think derives from “little folks” or fairies), wisteria, hydrangeas and more bring the all the delights of a garden right to the inside of your home. Each of the three palettes offers a lush spectrum of hues, allowing for layered schemes of colors and neutrals. Nymph Floral makes memorable upholstered dining chairs, darling Roman shades, or a sprightly settee bench!

ANDERSON VELVET STRIPE Anderson Velvet Stripe is delightfully surprising and unique in many ways. At a distance, the ombré of eight stripes all varying in tone and value create a wonderful shift of color over a plush surface. Up close, there is a play of cut and loop pile, creating a subtle pattern within each individual stripe. Any of the three colorways of this sumptuous yet robust velvet would be perfect for a luxe upholstered daybed or a splendid set of accent chairs in a modern library.
