A timeless classic, Chinoiserie patterns are always fresh and stylish.  It's a sure way of adding softness into a room, especially in a small area such as hallways, dining rooms or powder rooms.

With so many Chinoiserie patterns out there, we thought we show you some of the newest, and in our opinion, the best.

Starting with the newest collection from Scalamandre.

This pattern is called Ascot Floral.  Shown here in blue and white, it is also available in green, light blue and gray.

This pattern is called Jardin De Chine.  Also from Scalamandre.  It looks gray here but actually is an expresso color.  We suggest getting a sample before you order.

From the same collection, this sisal print pattern is especially elegant and refined. It is called Luoyang Garden, also by Scalamandre.

Another sisal print, which is our favorite texture because it really adds depth to a room, this one is called Shenyang Sisal.

 And for a little more fun and colors, this one is lovely.  The name of this pattern is Shantung Garden
